Arizona College of Emergency Physicians

Since 1972

50 years of Arizona EM

How a desert chapter became one of the strongest state ACEP communities.

We are AzCEP, the Arizona chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, representing emergency physicians across the desert Southwest since 1972.

Our mission is to support the highest quality emergency medical care and to serve as advocates for our patients, our members, and our specialty.

Diversity drives us

Our Board of Directors reflects the full landscape of Arizona EM: academicians, private practice physicians, large group, small group, individual physicians, hospital-based groups, board certified, non-board certified, rural, urban, residents, and medical students, across the political spectrum. AzCEP IS YOU.

We are everywhere

AzCEP has spent five decades building relationships that matter: the Arizona Legislature, the Governor's office, the Arizona Hospital Association, partner medical and nursing organizations, and mental-health advocacy groups. When a policy decision affects emergency medicine in Arizona, AzCEP is in the room.
